Legacy Tower Technicians support all aspects of telecommunication installations including the construction and maintenance of telecommunications towers and structures. Daily objectives include ensuring that work is performed in accordance with all safety and quality guidelines and expectations.

Responsibilities
Must value safety over and above all other considerations
Perform work on the tower while ensuring that a safe, quality installation is performed, including rigging, hoisting, landing, fastening, load hopping, etc.
Install equipment including masts, clamping, bracing, supports, antennas, RRUs, cabling, bolting, assist in shooting proper azimuth within tolerances, labeling, picture-taking, documentation
At the instruction of Tower Crew Leader, perform coax, fiber, lines, and hybrid cable installations, connector installation, sweep and testing assisting, weather proofing, color-coding, labeling, etc. connect coax feed lines and jumpers per piping diagrams, and support and fasten adequately for a quality, lasting installation
Complete grounding, terminations, fastening, proper bolting and antioxidant use, support of leads, cad-welding as required, etc.
Assist with maintenance of vehicles and equipment, tool inventory, etc.
Qualifications:
Read and understand construction drawings, piping diagrams, job specifications, mounting specs, testing procedures, etc.
Willing to work independently under limited supervision
Provide communication and customer service that is white-glove
Current OSHA 10hr certification is a plus
Physical Demands:
Must be at least 18 years old, have a valid drivers license
Able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background, drug testing and MVR
Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather while performing work at various heights, for long periods of time
Must be able to meet the physical requirements set forth in ANSI Z359 for fall protection gear
