Green Mountain is seeking a Tower Technician II to add to our climbing crews responsible for the installation and maintenance of wireless communications equipment. Green Mountain serves the New England area and unlike other companies in the industry, our employees are not away from home for weeks at a time. This person must be a self-starter, team player and looking to grow in their field while at Green Mountain.
· Installation and maintenance of wireless equipment.
· Climbing of towers and other structures.
· Use of hand and power tools.
Required Education and Experience
Must have High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 year’s experience using hand and power tools either in a construction or mechanical capacity with transferrable skills required.
Ability to work proficiently at heights
Completed OSHA 10/HR training and certification received.
Completed RF Safety Awareness Training
Successfully Completed Tower Safety and Rescue Training and certification received.
First Aid/CPR Certification obtained.
Minimum of 6 months of experience on a tower crew.
Full understanding of job requirements and willingness to fulfill those.
Valid Driver’s License.
Ability and understanding of safe work practices.
Effective communication skills.
Able to work in varying weather conditions.
