Job Description
Tower technicians work outside during all seasons aiding with the construction, installation, and maintenance of towers. Applicants can expect to develop problem-solving and troubleshooting skills while working in teams of two or more people. This position requires individuals to complete on-site inspection reports and aid with the installation of tower equipment. Tower Technicians will complete necessary repairs, installs, inspections, and other tasks. Applicants should expect to stay out of town between one to four nights weekly and work an average of 40 hours per week with fluctuations between workloads and inclement weather. Tri County Tower offers rapid advancement opportunities accompanied by skill-based raises.
Tasks
Climbing and working at heights reaching 400 feet above the ground.
Correctly use company-provided personal protection equipment (helmet, safety glasses, climbing harness, lanyards, tool pouch, etc.)
Perform comprehensive installations and inspections.
Conducting safety checks to ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order.
Communicating with team members and supervisors on the site and at headquarters.
Installing strobe and aircraft obstruction lighting, Antennas, mounting Systems, safety hardware systems, etc.
Requirements
Valid & Clean U.S. Driver’s License

Reliable Transportation
Physical ability to climb towers while carrying 50+ pounds at high altitudes.
