Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical installations for telecommunications equipment, including power plant, batteries, and backup systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local safety codes.
  • Collaborate with project managers and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Conduct testing and diagnostics on power systems to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • Certification: Valid Journeyman Electrician certification or Ohio Electrical Contractor License (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as an electrician, with at least 1 year in telecommunications or low-voltage systems.
  • Skills: Proficiency in fiber optic cabling, Cat5/Cat6 wiring, and telecommunications equipment installation. Knowledge of PLCs and high-voltage systems is a plus.
  • Training: Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship or equivalent training program preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license; OSHA 10 or higher certification preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs, and perform tasks in confined spaces.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual, Spanish is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

 

  • Pay: $72,000 gross annual salary
  • Company-provided tools, and vehicle for job sites , meals allowance according to company policies.
