Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, servicing, and troubleshooting of wireless telecommunications equipment on towers

• Apply hands-on telecommunications experience with a tower climbing background

• Demonstrate strong work ethic, reliability, and physical stamina for fieldwork

• Work safely at heights while carrying up to 70 lbs of equipment

• Follow all OSHA regulations and maintain a safety-first approach at all times

• Travel across Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana as required

• Maintain and renew safety certifications (company covers costs)

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment safely

• Support senior tower technicians in identifying and resolving telecom system issues

• Adhere to site-specific regulations and company safety protocols

• Learn and assist in mentoring junior technicians under guidance

• Perform work in all weather conditions while maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in tower climbing or telecommunications construction

• Basic skills in rigging, tower work, and antenna installation

• Familiarity with RF systems, fiber optics, and telecom infrastructure

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Comfortable working in a team-oriented, high-performance environment

• CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 10/30 certifications preferred (not required)

• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and climbing equipment

• Able to work independently while coordinating with the team

• Committed to safety and following industry regulations

• Willingness to learn and troubleshoot technical issues under supervision
