Heavy Equipment Operators
Full-time Posted Feb, 26We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team. Your job will entail working in diverse settings to produce quality results. The Heavy Equipment Operator operates large equipment including excavators, tractor backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, and other machinery as needed for underground civil construction. Ideal candidates adhere to company safety standards and take pride in their work.
Responsibilities:
• Safely and proficiently operates all heavy equipment
• Performs operator maintenance on all heavy equipment on the job site
• Oversees and ensures safe lifting procedure
• Layout and complete excavations for structures and trenches
• Assists in installation of boards, setting lines, grades, offsets, and elevations
• Establish and transfer benchmarks
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Perform other construction duties as needed
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements:
• Safety knowledge and skills
• Knowledge and skill operating excavator, bulldozer, and tractor backhoe
• Valid Drivers License with Class A CDL
• Blueprint reading
• Operate transit & laser level
• Proper use and maintenance of heavy equipment
• Excavator signaling
Minimum Qualifications Required at time of Application:
Class A CDL
2+ years trade related experience
