The Impact You'll Make

As a Safety Climb Installer, you’ll be the hands-on expert ensuring that every climb is secure. Your work will directly protect technicians, engineers, and tower climbers, giving them the confidence to focus on their jobs without compromising their safety. From installing new systems to inspecting and upgrading existing ones, you’ll be a critical part of keeping our industry safe.

What You'll Do

  • Install safety climb systems on towers, monopoles, rooftops, and other elevated structures according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct pre-installation site assessments to determine equipment needs and ensure compliance with OSHA and ANSI safety regulations.
  • Use specialized tools and equipment to anchor, tension, and test safety climb cables and hardware.
  • Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on existing safety climb systems to ensure ongoing reliability.
  • Document all work performed, including installation details, inspection reports, and safety checklists.
  • Collaborate with project managers, tower crews, and safety officers to coordinate schedules and ensure minimal downtime for clients.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience working at heights—tower climbing, rope access, or similar field experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with fall protection systems, safety climb devices, and related hardware.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA, ANSI, and NATE safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, installation manuals, and safety guidelines.
  • Physical fitness and agility to climb and work in varying weather conditions.
  • A commitment to precision, safety, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • One year of Tuf-Tug and Allfasteners Phoenix safety climb installs.
  • Blind bolt installs is a plus.
  • Preferred… Tuf-Tug safety climb online training course. 
  • Updated certificates required for this scope of work.
  • Valid driver’s license.
