Kilowatt Inc, Broadcast specialists has an immediate opening for entry level tower technician. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package. We’re a full-service tower company specializing in broadcast towers. Our field technicians regularly climb and rig at heights exceeding 1000′. Tall tower work isn’t for everyone. It’s the toughest job you’ll ever love.
Key Roles
Erect, repair, maintenance and installation of equipment on broadcast towers in teams of 2-5 climbers.
Safety is first and foremost and is our core value.
This is a physically demanding position. Successful candidates should have the ability to safely lift 70lbs and climb wearing 50lbs of safety gear and tools.
The ability and willingness to work in adverse weather conditions is a must.
Candidates should expect to travel up to 75% of the year.
Must be willing to work long hours. Typical work weeks are 40-70 hours.
Must have basic knowledge of hand tools.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to pass a drug screen and pre-employment physical.
Candidate should have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
