Structural Design Engineer (Telecommunications)

Structural Design Engineer (Telecommunications)

Full-time Posted Mar, 11

Are you a high-performing engineer who thrives on precision? Do you love the challenge of solving complex problems and the literal "high" of field work?

We are looking for a Structural Design Engineer to join our team. This isn't a role for someone who wants to hide behind a desk all day or wait for a checklist to be handed to them. We need a Thoroughbred—someone who is disciplined, hungry to learn, and capable of executing with excellence whether they are in the office or 200 feet in the air.

The Mission

Your goal is to ensure the integrity and safety of the infrastructure that keeps the world connected. You will own the process of analyzing telecommunication towers, creating technical masterpieces in CAD, and capturing mission-critical data in the field.

What "Winning" Looks Like

In this role, excellence is measured by three key outcomes:

  1. Independent Accuracy: You conduct precise structural analyses that senior engineers trust implicitly. You don't just "do the math"; you understand the why behind the project.

  2. Technical Mastery: You produce detailed, "zero-defect" technical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks that meet every specification and deadline.

  3. Field Excellence: You lead site visits with extreme efficiency. You arrive prepared, capture every data point accurately without oversight, and return with the intel needed to move the project forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Structural Analysis: Review company standards and apply rigorous methods to assess existing tower structures. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders to sharpen your saw and improve your analytical depth.

  • Drawing & Design: Transform concepts into reality. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of project drawings, proactively seeking clarification and incorporating feedback to ensure a perfect final product.

  • Field Data Collection: Pack the gear, hit the site, and get the job done. You’ll be responsible for thorough documentation and prompt reporting of all field findings.

  • Professional Growth: You don’t settle. You will take the lead on your own professional development, obtaining your Tower Climber certification and FAA Part 107 pilot license within your first few months.

Requirements (What It Takes)

  • The "Pro" Mindset: You are a self-starter who doesn't need a babysitter. You take direction well but have the initiative to figure things out.

  • Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks is a must.

  • Physical & Mental Grit: You must be willing and able to climb towers and work outdoors in various conditions.

  • Detail Obsession: You understand that in structural engineering, a small mistake is a big deal. You check your work twice because your reputation depends on it.

Why Join Us?

We aren't just a company; we’re a team on a mission. If you are looking for a place where your hard work is recognized, your growth is supported, and your contribution actually matters, you’ve found it.
