Tower Systems is actively hiring full-time, experienced Tower Technicians to join our team. Tower Systems is a family-operated business headquartered in Watertown, South Dakota, with a division in Winter Park, Florida, and a satellite office in Angle Inlet, Minnesota.  We have a national and global footprint and will work wherever our services are needed.

Technicians will perform all aspects of new construction, dismantles, upgrades, co-locations, inspections, microwaves, mapping, civils, foundations, and maintenance on all types of existing towers from 60’ to 1500’.

Essential Requirements:

• Must be of good moral character, dependable, and honest. A self-starter and a team player driven by results.
• Works well with others and maintains a positive attitude.
• Understands and adheres to best industry standards (OSHA, TIA10-48, NATE CTS, and ANSI) and employee handbook.
• Must be able to follow directions and procedures from Management.
• Have good communication skills, verbal and written. (Job closeouts, time cards, receipts, reports, audits, etc.)
• Proficient use of PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones, printers, and cameras.
• A valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Proficient in general industry knowledge, including rigging, knot tying, and signaling
• Comprehension of construction drawings, assembly drawings, RF data sheets, etc.
• Build and install a quality product.
• Forklift, boom truck, crane, gin pole, and winch experience is a plus.
• Must exhibit good physical stamina to climb towers with the ability to lift, pull, and push 80 lbs. Able to crouch, kneel, twist, and climb with both hands
• Willingness to travel extensively, away from the home market, nationally and internationally. Passport recommended.
• Work hours average between 8-10 hours per day; in all types of weather. Weekends and nights may be required.
• Trade certifications a plus! NWSA, Certified climber/rescuer, OSHA 10, OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, Anritsu, Fiber, PIM, Connectors, OTDR, etc.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and speak, read, and write in English.
• Clean driving record.
