Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot wireless telecommunications equipment on towers

• Perform work safely at extreme heights (300+ ft) and in all weather conditions

• Carry and manage equipment weighing 70+ lbs while climbing

• Follow OSHA regulations and maintain a safety-first approach at all times

• Travel extensively across the Midwest as required

• Use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment efficiently

• Mentor and train junior tower technicians

• Quickly identify and resolve telecom system issues

• Adhere to site-specific regulations and company safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in tower climbing or telecommunications construction

• Must possess or successfully complete TTT-1 Certification within first 30 days

• Proficient in rigging, tower erection, and antenna installation

• Strong knowledge of RF, fiber optics, and telecom infrastructure

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

• Comfortable working independently and in a team-oriented environment

• CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 10/30 certifications preferred (not required)

• Skilled with climbing gear, hand tools, and power tools

• Committed to safety and familiar with industry regulations
